Dear Sophie, thank you for accompanying me on my journey and holding my hand when I was feeling quite shaky and didn't know which way to go. With you, I accepted myself and felt comfortable with all the issues I brought with me—trauma, addiction, depression.
With you, I was able to learn what it feels like to be truly held and, in the process, to learn to hold myself. Thank you for the strategies you gave me and for always making me feel that I am good just as I am. The time with you took so much pressure off me and gave me insight into my inner map.
