Jan Füllemann

Jan responded to my request for help rebuilding an online portfolio into a business website that offered my services. I’d tried to do it myself in RapidWeaver Elements but quickly saw that my steep learning curve meant I'd never get it ready in a reasonable timeframe. Jan assessed my current site, saw the direction I’d attempted in Elements and offered an alternative.

I was impressed from the outset with his friendly, courteous manner, professionalism and expertise. I’ve worked with designers and software engineers throughout my career and Jan is one of the best that I’ve had the pleasure to work with. He was easy to work with, clear, efficient and always responsive to my questions and email, as well as to my comments on the pages he produced. He even suggested a business service that I hadn’t considered!

When I had issues with my hosting company, with site changes not being published, he offered to step in and resolve it for me. His assessment of the problem was correct.

My being in the U.S. and him in Europe didn’t hinder communication or progress, and it was always a pleasure to speak with him. We developed an easy, comfortable partnership. Isn’t that the way it should be? His own website says that he’s “friendly, fast and reliable;” he’s all that and more. This assessment asked me to rate his price-to-performance ratio; I wish that I wasn’t limited to only five stars!

Jan Füllemann works at the cutting edge, is just as creative as a programmer as he is in implementing graphic ideas for his customers. Our website is now clear in its menu navigation, appealing in its graphics and responsive, as is required today. We also thank him for being available for intermediate questions - and for his almost invisible but relevant advice on all problem areas around the website. I have a 7+GB website created with older versions of RW up through RW 6. When I tried to convert this project into a RW 8 compatible project, there were so many errors that I knew that I needed some experienced help in fixing it. After contacting Jan via the RapidWeaver "Hire an RapidWeaver Expert" webpage, Jan responded quickly and after sending him my website files, Jan was able to update the site in a minimal amount of time, taught me some new skills which has resulted in the website now being up and running with no errors. His directions on a few things for me to do were clear, to the point and worked the first time.

I know from my own work that time is valuable and yet Jan's fee for his time and services was extremely reasonable and generous. He deserves and will earn the trust of anyone who selects him for their support and technical advice. I'm glad that I asked for his help and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for some expert advice.
